“I am a worker, when I feel like working.
That is, as close to inspiration as it gets, outside the work. Inspiration, if it comes, comes from the work itself.
It is what is hoped for.

I wouldn't listen to only one kind of music, I don't want to do only one kind of painting. I am a person, not a factory.
Quality has nothing to do with style. Maybe everyone knows that.
However, a sparse painting, may indicate seeking peace, order and stability. Meaning some life turmoil is occuring. Maybe the house is a mess!
Art is a bar. I go there to drown my sorrows, I go there to celebrate.
What comes of it? The next day.”
