Spring is in the air at Drumlin Farm, and with it comes shearing season! As our sheep say goodbye to their warm winter coats, we’re celebrating with the return of our annual festival dedicated to all things woolly. Gather your flock and join us on Saturday, March 28, from 9:00 am–4:00 pm for a day of fiber, food, and fun for all ages while you soak in the beauty of the farm in early spring.
Activities include:
-Sheep-shearing demonstrations
-Sheepdog herding demonstration (weather permitting)
-New baby farm animals (lambs and kids)
-"Sheep-to-Sweater" Interpretive Trail
-Yarn crafts and other hands-on activities
-Local fiber artisans offering demonstrations and selling handmade products
Programs will be ongoing throughout the day. While you enjoy the festivities, fuel up with treats from visiting food trucks, available for purchase starting at 11:00 am.
Advance registration is not available for this event. For more info, visit massaudubon.org/woolapalooza
