Ladies and gents, this is the one you've been waiting for... Uncaged is back with our monthly shenanigans, and all the fun and excitement that comes from a mix of alcohol and words. We've had people travel from Hull, Chesterfield, Nottingham Leicester, Stamford, Newark, Market Rasen, Sleaford, Grantham, Boston, and beyond to take part. So come and see what all the excitement is about.
Ron Booth comperes the evening with verve and gusto, signing people up for a slot from 7pm ready to kick off at 8pm. If you read poetry, write flash fiction stories (5 to 8 minutes) have a stand up comedy set, come and book yourself a slot.
Special Guest: Matt Nicholson
He is a poet from just North of the Humber. And is one of Hull’s notorious spoken word supergroup, The 4 Johns. His 5th poetry collection, Side-eye, was published in the summer of last year, and he is currently writing a frightening amount of poems about fears and phobias.
