Some more top quality entertainment! A feature set by the amazingly talented Nancy Dawkins, sandwiched between 2 rounds of tasty open mic.

Nancy Dawkins is a poet from Leicester. She released a music and spoken word E.P., Ten of Swords, under her alias Mouse Teeth in 2024 to critical acclaim. Her poetry has been published online and in print and engages with grief, magic and heartbreak with brutal honesty. In 2024 she was longlisted for the Glastonbury Emerging Talent Competition and in 2023 she won the Some Antics Slam Poetry Championship and was a finalist in the Farrago Poetry U.K. Championships. She has also won the Siobhan Logan Spoken Word award and poetry prize as part of Leicester Writer’s Club, of which she is a member.
