Sew a Jelly Roll quilt in a day with Louise - Sunday class
Sew a quilt in a day - Make a Jelly Roll Quilt.
Finished size approx 53” by 49”. The perfect size!
It looks great on the back of the settee or a hanging sleeve can be added to display it as a wall hanging.
Make a bright and intricate looking quilt with ‘magic’ cutting and strip piecing. You will arrange, sew to create pieced blocks, cut using a rotary cutter and reassemble.
Suitable for anyone who can confidently use a sewing machine. Ideal to give as a gift or why not treat a friend or family member to a sewing workshop for Christmas?
1 jelly roll (pre-cut fabric 40x 2.5” strips, each 44” in length in coordinating colours). I used a ‘Cotton Blossoms’ Moda Jelly Roll.
1m of coordinating fabric for borders.
Wadding, batting and binding (advice to be given on the day)
Tea and coffee are provided.
Please bring a packed lunch for the day, or pop across the road to the shops at lunchtime.
