🌿 Russel Allen Garden Day is back! 🌿
Join us on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at the Oasis Senior Center in Lincoln for a morning of learning and gardening inspiration.
Hosted by University of Illinois Extension Logan County Master Gardeners, this event will include tips and tricks to up your gardening game. Whether you are a beginning gardener or a seasoned expert, this event is for you!
This all-morning event is only $12 with registration before March 10, so sign up soon!
The 2026 Russel Allen Garden Day features an engaging lineup of gardening sessions, including:
• Tool Time for the Home Gardener
• Terrific Trees
• Using Native Plants in Your Yard
• Houseplant Care
(Some workshops include an additional fee)
For the keynote session, Ken Johnson (Illinois Extension Horticulture Educator) will teach pest management without– or with fewer– pesticides.
Other speakers include Lisa Wrage, Horticulturalist; Jennifer Fishburn, Illinois Extension Horticulture Educator; Debra Aper, Master Gardener Volunteer; and Jim Struebing, Master Gardener and Master Naturalist Volunteer.
Sessions run from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with check-in opening at 8:00 AM.
