Jazz in June 2025 Concert Series - Pete Fucinaro

Jazz in June concerts take place every Tuesday evening during the month of June at the UNL Sheldon Sculpture Garden. The free, family-friendly concert series will feature two sets of music from 7-7:45 p.m. and 8-8:45 p.m., with a 15-minute intermission.

June 17th Artist- Pete Fucinaro
On June 17th, come see one of our own as Nebraska native Pete Fucinaro brings his vibrant contemporary sound to Jazz in June. As a former member of the seven-time Grammy-nominated One O’Clock Band, Pete is making a statement with his unique blend of traditional and innovative saxophonist styles. His heartfelt music demonstrates a fluid approach through soft, cinematic orchestration, often adding flair through improvisation. Pete's performances prioritize storytelling, inviting the audience in and leaving a lasting impression.

The Jazz in June Food Festival, as well as our Kids Zone, will be starting at 5pm. Concertgoers are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs. Jazz in June performances are free and open to the public, though donations are encouraged at the event or ahead of time online. Alcohol and/or dogs are not permitted.
