- **Event Description**: For our October Friends4Lunch event, we are hitting a new restaurant in Lincoln: Slim Chickens, park of Midwest Slims, LLC. on Thursday, Oct. 8 at 11:30 a.m.

Slim Chicken’s mission is to make the best hand-breaded chicken tenders using only the freshest ingredients, served in a friendly atmosphere where guests can relax and feel at home. Their timetested recipe has become a household favorite, locking in flavor with their southern-style buttermilk marinade, and lightly breaded by hand with every order.

The Slims menu features fried or grilled chicken tenders, wings, salads, wraps, sandwiches, chicken & waffles, southern sides, and their famous jar desserts. Slims menu features some non-traditional sides including Fried Okra, Fried Pickles, Fried Mushrooms and a variety of SWEET & flavored iced teas!
