Friends and family will share and speak with us during the first portion - roughly 2-3:30 p.m. - and then we will have some of Katie’s favorite bands perform honoring Katie's life, legacy, and love for music. 

We are grateful to have sets from the following friends:

You are more than welcome to come at any time for any duration. Please extend an invitation to those you know who may have known Katie and would like to attend.

Katie touched numerous people over the course of her life and it’s only fitting we gather to honor the relationships she had made with so many at one of her favorite venues in Lincoln, NE - The Bourbon Theatre.

Katie loved music both in creating with friends and on her own, and experiencing as a listener and fan. If you ever went to a show where Katie was in the audience, at any given moment you looked her way you’d catch her grinning from ear to ear in pure joy, and more often than not busting some only-Katie-like moves, too.

Katie would love nothing more then to have so many of her loved ones gathered in one place in a celebration - if you’ve been to any gathering thrown by Katie, you know she was a most excellent host and quite the theme-party thrower.

And in knowing Katie, she was also a radiant human being, who’s soul was richly colorful and bright. Please feel welcomed to attend dressed in any kind of colorful, fun outfit that she would get bright-eyed and smile over.
