- **Event Description**: The Blackstone River Watershed Council will be hosting a free Earth Day open house Saturday April 18th from 10 AM till 4 PM. There will be lots of family friendly, fun activities and demonstrations throughout the day.  You can visit our indoor environmental center, walk the trails on our 11 acre property and visit a large sycamore tree affectionately called Mother Sycamore. 

You will also be able to learn about local indigenous culture, invasive plants and how they are harmful to native species. See water quality testing, learn about river fossils, fishing, astronomy/solar activities and more!  There will be free hotdogs and drinks. 

Fun for the whole family.
