About the event

Bookbinding: Victorian Notebook
Spend a day in the Usher Gallery taking part in this heritage craft book making workshop, where you can create a traditional handmade Victorian period notebook to take home and enjoy using.

You will be guided throughout the workshop by Caroline Bain, who is a professionally trained bookbinder. Caroline will teach you the traditional bookbinding skills needed, providing step-by-step demonstrations, individual support and expert advice.

This workshop is suitable for all abilities (over 18 years only), whether you are a complete beginner, just love books or want to build on your hobbyist craft skills. All materials and tools will be provided.
