An evening of music at Grafton House with Ruben Dales - vocals and Colin Dudman - piano in an adventurous and varied collection of music to enjoy.
Ruben Dales comes from Newark and started his singing career as a chorister at Lincoln Cathedral. After acquiring a Masters degree at Royal Holloway University of London, Ruben has returned to the cathedral for a year as an alto choral scholar.
Meanwhile, Ruben has performed widely in several different genres of music, and together with Colin Dudman has formed a new group reflecting a similar diversity of accessible musical styles, from Jazz standards and Rock songs to some engaging contemporary music.
Colin Dudman has spent most of his life in London as a professional musician, primarily as a jazz pianist and composer, with occasional forays into other areas of music. These have included work on the Andrew Lloyd Webber show Starlight Express, and - a mistake, but it took him to New Zealand - working in a skiffle band with Lonnie Donegan! Colin is also the founder of London’s famous recording and rehearsal studios The Premises.
