- **Event Description**: ?Join us for a special screening of "500 Mile Sculpture Garden," a 1976 Nebraska Public Media documentary that explores Nebraska's visionary I-80 Bicentennial Sculpture Project.  The screening marks the 50th anniversary of the I-80 Bicentennial Sculpture Project, coinciding with the national America 250 celebrations.

Alongside the 1976 documentary, we will feature two supplemental short films:
• "The 1976 Revolutionary Bicentennial Sculpture Project" (from Nebraska Public Media's "Nebraska Stories" series)
• "The I-80 Sculpture Project" (from the documentary "My Friend Norman")

Following the event, there will be a panel discussion at 5:30pm at the Sheldon Museum of Art, featuring artists, historians and project leaders who played key roles in shaping and preserving this landmark public art initiative. This event is free and open to the public.
