Summer Sings 1 is Led by David Fitzpatrick, Artistic Director of Wheatland Chorale
Come sing through some of the most exciting, fun, and dramatic choruses from Haydn’s Creation. Composed between 1797 and 1798, The Creation celebrates the story of the creation of the world based on Genesis, Paradise Lost, and Psalms. Inspired by Handel, Haydn’s work is famously optimistic and vibrant, using innovative orchestration to depict chaos, the birth of light, and the natural world.
