Not if you’re Susan Rice.

On March 16th, 1983, Susan stepped on stage at the Leaky Roof Tavern in Portland, Oregon to work on a one woman show and she changed her life completely. Rice became a stand-up comic. Since then, she has used her sense of humor to entertain audiences all over the US and abroad.
Moving to Los Angeles gave Susan her first taste of what show biz had in store for her. She rapidly became a regular at the Icehouse in Pasadena, Igby’s, The Comedy Store, and worked for the Improvs. She rapidly moved up the performance ladder and headlined at many of the clubs of the 1990’s; Laff Stops, Last Laugh’s, Stanfords and Comedy Connections.
Rice learned from wonderful headliners on the road; comics like Jerry Seinfeld, Bill Hicks, Sam Kinnison and Paula Poundstone.
Her first TV comedy set on ABC’s George Schlatter’s Comedy Club and followed with his Reunion show. Cable shows included Showtime Comedy on the Road, Comic Stripe Live, and Evening at the Improv.
Since her return to the Pacific Northwest, Rice has been invited to perform in The Bridgetown Comedy Festival, Las Vegas Comedy Festival and was a contestant in HBO/TNT Comedy Festival at Caesar’s Palace Lucky 21 Contest.
Adam Muller is a New York based, MIT-educated, former finance professional turned stand-up comedian. Originally from Toronto, Canada, Adam’s clean, smart comedy blends the personal and observational while being simultaneously clever and relatable.
Adam’s first special, According to Plan, has been streamed over 174K times, and his new special, Funny To You, is out now – to rave reviews! His Dry Bar special premiered in December 2024, as well!
Adam is a regular at clubs around the US and Canada, he has been featured in the New York Comedy Festival, Asheville Comedy Festival, Boston Comedy Festival, and the World Series of Comedy Main Event, and can be heard on Sirius/XM daily.
Using a combination of storytelling mixed with set-up punchlines, James Uloth makes observations on everyday situations that we can all relate with, while politely pointing out some of the cultural contradictions that have become the status quo.
