De quoi s'agit-il ? 

La Discipline du Mouvement Authentique est une approche somatique et mystique, de danse thérapie, qui s’appuie sur la dynamique de la relation créée entre une personne en mouvement et un.e témoin immobile. Le mouvement authentique est une démarche remarquablement simple dans sa forme de base, mais extrêmement riche et profonde dans ce qu’elle permet de découvrir à partir de notre expérience incarnée qui se vit d’instant en instant.
La DMA a été initiée par Mary Starks Whitehouse, danseuse américaine (formée auprès de Mary Wigman et Martha Graham), passionnée par l'analyse jungienne et fondatrice de l'American Dance Therapy Association. 
Par la suite, Janet Adler, thérapeute par le mouvement et la danse, a développé et systématisé cette approche dans les années 1970. Elle a fondé la Discipline du Mouvement Authentique et la première école dédiée à l'enseignement de cette pratique aux États-Unis. S'appuyant sur les travaux de John Weir sur l'épistémologie somatique, les relations interpersonnelles et la psychodynamique, elle a théorisé le phénomène de la conscience du témoin et l'importance du témoignage. 
La DMA vise à favoriser les liens entre sentiments, émotions, imagination, mouvement, relations aux autres et conscience de soi au service de la santé, des compétences interpersonnelles, de la créativité et de l'épanouissement. Dans cette pratique, il s'agit d'écouter et de répondre à ce qui doit bouger en nous, puis de le transformer par le mouvement, devant des témoins. Puis, de le partager par la parole ou l'écrit, sous forme de mots tirés directement du vécu.
Dans un cadre sécurisant et respectueux, afin de pouvoir explorer son espace intérieur en grande liberté, la démarche réduit les influences externes : ni musique, ni protocole, ni grille interprétative.
 
Soraya Jorge :

    Danseuse, praticienne et thérapeute brésilienne, Soraya pratique la Discipline du Mouvement authentique depuis plus de 30 ans. Elle s'est formée auprès de Janet Adler et Nancy Chodorow dans les années 1993. Elle est également formée à la Somatic Experiencing et a enseigné la danse et le mouvement dans différentes écoles et universités au Brésil. 
    Durant ce stage, elle sera assistée par Mariana Camarote, avec laquelle elle collabore depuis de nombreuses années.

Ce cours est ouvert à celleux qui découvrent la discipline du Mouvement Authentique, ainsi qu'à celleux qui la pratiquent depuis plusieurs années.
La DMA est une merveilleuse ressource pour les somatothérapeutes, thérapeutes du mouvement, danseureuses, performeureuses, psychothérapeutes, personnes en développement personnel, artistes, formateurices et toutes les personnes qui sont curieuses de mieux se connaître en relation avec les autres.
 
Les places sont limitées, réservez la vôtre ! Nous considérons qu'une personne est inscrite dès le versement des arrhes. Cet événement implique la venue de Soraya Jorge de Rio de Janeiro. Nous vous demandons donc de bien vouloir nous faire part de votre intérêt dès que possible afin d'assurer la pérennité de l'événement.

Le stage se tiendra à la Ferme du Breuilh, à Saint-Pierre-de-Frugie en Dordogne, dans un cadre exceptionnel au coeur du Parc national du Périgord-Limousin. Durant votre séjour, vous aurez accès à un espace naturel sauvage, avec forêt, rivière, arbres et fermes traditionnelles.
L'hébergement se fera en tente, dortoirs (de 3 ou de 6) ou chambres individuelles. Les repas seront cuisinés quotidiennement par notre cuisinière avec des produits frais et locaux.

What to expect ?

The Discipline of Authentic Movement is a somatic and mystical approach, based on the dynamics of the relationship created between a person in movement and a still witness. Authentic movement is a remarkably simple approach in its basic form, but extremely rich and profound in what it allows us to discover from our embodied experience, what is lived from moment to moment.
DMA was initiated by Mary Starks Whitehouse, an american dancer (trained with Mary Wigman and Martha Graham), interested by Jungian analysis and founder of American Dance Therapy Association. 
Then, Janet Adler, movement and dance therapist, further developed and systematized this approach in the 1970s. Founding the Discipline of Authentic Movement and the first school dedicated to teaching this pratice in the US. Based on John Weir's work, about somatic epistemology, interpersonal relationship and psychodynamic, she theorized the phenomenom of witness cousciousness and the importance of witnessing. 
DMA aims to foster the connections between feelings, emotions, imagination, movement, relationships with others, and self-awareness in the service of health, interpersonal skills, creativity, and growth.
In this practice, it is about listening and responding to what needs to move within us and transforming it through movement, in front of witnesses. Then sharing it through speech or writing, in the form of words taken directly from lived experience.
In a safe and respectful setting, allowing patients to explore their inner space with complete freedom, the approach reduces external influences: no music, no protocol, no interpretive framework. 
 
Who's Soraya Jorge ?

She's a Brazilian dancer, practitioner, and therapist. Soraya has practiced the Discipline of Authentic Movement for over 30 years. She's trained with Janet Adler and Nancy Chodorow since 1993. She is also trained in Somatic Experiencing and has taught dance and movement at various schools and universities in Brazil and Portugal.
During this workshop, she will be assisted by Mariana Camarote, with whom she has collaborated for many years.

How and where ? 

The workshop will take place in the beautiful place, la Ferme du Breuilh, in Saint-Pierre-de-Frugie in the Dordogne (France), in an exceptional setting in the heart of the Périgord-Limousin National Park. During your stay, you will have access to a wild land, with forest, river, trees and traditional farms. 
Accommodation will be in tents, dormitories (of 3 or 6 people), or single rooms (with a double bed). Meals will be prepared daily by our cook, using fresh, local produce.
The immersion will begin on Thursday, May 28th with a late afternoon arrival and dinner, and will continue until the end of the week end, in mid-afternoon of Sunday, May 31st.
The workshop will be given in English (with option of traduction in French and Portuguese if needed)
