Next month, you can join us for the 2nd Annual Limerick Greenway Walk for Brú - a beautiful day out that blends history, scenery, and our community.
📅 Date: Saturday, 13 September 2025
📍 Start Point: Ardagh Old Station, 10:00 AM
🚶♀️ Distance: Up to 10km - you choose your pace!
This year we begin at the Ardagh Station, where the first train arrived in 1867, just one year before the discovery of the legendary Ardagh Chalice. You’ll walk along the stunning Limerick Greenway, soaking in fresh air, sweeping views, with great company.
And when you cross the finish line, we’ll be waiting with tea, coffee, fresh scones, and sweet treats - the perfect reward for your efforts.

Every step you take helps Brú Columbanus continue our vital work, providing accommodation and support for families facing some of life’s toughest moments. Together, we can make a real difference - and have a wonderful day while doing it.
