Danny Morrison’s updated memoir (2025) is a reflection on family, friends and republican comrades who have influenced his life—from his childhood in Belfast, to his youth and his activism, when ‘British soldiers contested our streets—and we contested them,’ and concludes in 2024 with his reflections on politics and history. With wry humour and passion, Morrison describes those with whom he was close, and others whose lives were quiet and simple, but inspirational.
