Event Description
The Shannon Taggart Symposium is a program of immersive talks and live conversations that brings together creators and thinkers whose work engages the paranormal, the spiritual, and the unexplained. Day 2 continues with an exploration into the intersection of art and magic, a rare film screening featuring the most iconic figures in UFO history, Spiritualist philosophy, alien architecture, and a live presentation of podcast Weird Studies. Presenter Bio
Shannon Taggart is a photographer and writer whose work sits at the intersection of art, cultural history, and paranormal investigation. In 2001, she began photographing in Lily Dale, which led to her book Séance, named one of TIME Magazine’s ‘Best Photobooks of 2019.’ Her work has been exhibited internationally and featured by CNN, the New York Times, Le Monde, the Washington Post, and The Paris Review, among others. She has been hosting her annual Symposium in Lily Dale since 2014.
