What happens when you combine the adventurous spirit of Miranda Goes Outside with the innovative mind of Kula Cloth Founder Anastasia Allison?
GORP Camp (Go Outside, Relax, and Play) is the result of this incredible collaboration, offering an unforgettable open-air camping experience on the Olympic Peninsula.
Experience the perfect blend of adventure, relaxation, and connection. Like the classic trail mix that combines the best ingredients to fuel your journey, GORP Camp brings together an incredible mix of people, fun activities, and experiences that will leave you energized and inspired. Whether bunking in the open-air cabins with new friends, enjoying delicious meals, or participating in workshops and outdoor games, every moment is designed to help you unwind, learn, and connect with like-minded adventurers.
*GORP Camp is an open air-cabin camping experience for humans 18 years and older. We'll be sleeping in small open-air cabins with outdoor facilities (privies). No pets or alcohol, please. The use of marijuana, illegal narcotics, and drugs is prohibited on property.
Here is a list of the GORP Camp Essentials Gear List to make your weekend epic.
At GORP Camp, where you sleep is part of the adventure — and we want to make sure it’s a good one.
We’ll be assigning campers to sleeping areas across the property, which include cozy open-air cabins with waterfront views to quiet forest nooks tucked beneath the trees, and even a few indoor bunk rooms for added comfort — each space offers its own kind of magic.
Wherever you land, you’ll be sharing your space with fellow adventurers — swapping stories, laughing into the night, and maybe even making new friends before the weekend is through.
Camp Food, Reimagined
We may be sleeping in cabins, but we’re eating like outdoor royalty. GORP Camp meals will be crafted by Chef Sara Harvey, former Executive Chef of Alderbrook Resort & Spa. She is a culinary expert known for turning simple, local ingredients into something unforgettable.
With five mouthwatering meals on the menu, you can expect hearty, soul-warming dishes. From hot breakfasts that fuel your morning adventures, to cozy dinners with waterfront views, every bite is made with care — and maybe just a little bit of magic.
Miranda Webster, Miranda Goes Outside
Miranda Webster’s love affair with the outdoors started when she took a college summer job at a local outdoor store. She knew nothing about hiking or camping, but threw herself into it anyway - and was hooked. That year, she bought her first pair of hiking boots, and a decade later, she’s made a career out of sharing her love of hiking, backpacking, and camping.
Miranda is the talent and content creator at Miranda Goes Outside. In 2019, Miranda partnered with Rainer Golden and the REI Co-op Studios Team to create “Miranda in the Wild.” The goal was to break the cycle of overly serious and seemingly unobtainable outdoor content online, and instead share content that reflected the joyous, and even silly side of camping and hiking – helping people to feel welcome, and answer some of the big questions: what do you eat, what do you pack, and where do you poop?
Anastasia Allison, Kula Cloth
Anastasia Allison is a former park ranger and police officer turned full-time entrepreneur. A near fatal car accident became the catalyst for her to pursue her dream of living an adventure-inspired life. She is the creator of Kula Cloth and the inventor of the Rapunzel Gaiter. She started her company in her guest bedroom and now her products are sold all over the world.
She lives in a cabin on a lake surrounded by granite cliffs with her husband Aaron, who plays the ukulele, and their three cats, Niko, Cinder and Esa. When they aren't performing music together, they try to spend as much time as possible riding motorcycles and sleeping in tents.
