Izrāde caur asprātīgiem dialogiem, spilgtiem tēliem un atpazīstamām situācijām atklāj liepājnieku ikdienu, raksturus un savstarpējās attiecības, piedāvājot sirsnīgu un tai pat laikā trāpīgu ieskatu pilsētas dzīves ritmā. Pilsētas iedzīvotājiem būs iespēja paskatīties uz sevi no malas, savukārt viesiem - iepazīt īstenu liepājnieku.

Pēc izrādes notiks sarunas ar radošo komandu pie tases kafijas vai tējas.

The opening celebrations of Liepāja 2027 will be enriched by 11 special events taking place across the city’s cultural venues on 23 January 2027 from 20:00 onwards. Each event will reveal a different facet of Liepāja’s character, highlighting the city’s unique paradoxes and that raw creative energy, while inviting both residents and visitors to rediscover Liepāja from a fresh perspective. On this evening, 11 cultural spaces will open their doors, offering a diverse programme of cultural and entertainment events.


At LNT Pagrabiņš, 13 Bāriņu Street, audiences will be able to enjoy the performance “Two to Liepāja”, inspired by the anthology “On the Way to Liepāja”. Through witty dialogue, vivid characters, and relatable situations, the play reveals the daily lives, characters, and relationships of Liepāja’s residents, offering a warm yet insightful glimpse into the rhythm of life in the city. For locals, it will be an opportunity to see themselves from a new perspective, while visitors will gain an authentic introduction to the spirit and character of a true Liepājnieks.

Following the performance, visitors will have the opportunity to meet the creative team for an informal conversation over a cup of coffee or tea.
