Pie lopiņiem, divradžiem. Ar personālizstādi “Divradzis”, kas no 25. septembra būs apskatāma koncertzālē “Lielais dzintars”, Liepāja uz brīdi kļūs par gabaliņu Drustu. Būs gan tie, kas paliks bez komentāriem un jauni, gan darbi no izstādēm “Nāku mājās” un “Savienotie trauki” jaunā situācijā.

Podnieks veido arī scenogrāfiju kamermūzikas iestudējumam “Reiha gājiens”, kas līdzās izstādes “Divradzis” atklāšanai notiks koncertzālē 26. septembrī Liepājas Mākslas foruma ietvaros. Jaunradītie izstādes darbi kļūs par daļu no koncerta un otrādi. Kā savienoti trauki – mijiedarbojoties, pārvadot spiedienu, izraisot lielu spēku vajadzīgajā vietā, nostājoties vienā līmenī.

OPENING. KASPARS PODNIEKS. EXHIBITION "BICORN"

"Something’s been off with the horned creatures lately… Unicorns are having a bad streak, and so is everyone else. We’ll see... I have a Bicorn." – Kaspars Podnieks
That’s where he comes from, and that’s where he is. Drusti. This place permeates all of his works. So do the people who participate in them. Artist Kaspars Podnieks fell into this center of the universe a long time ago. With his livestock, the bicorns. With the solo exhibition Bicorn (Divradzis), on view at the Great Amber Concert Hall September 25, Liepāja will turn into a fragment of Drusti for a brief while. There will be pieces that will remain without comment, as well as new ones and also works from his exhibitions Coming Home (Nāku mājās) and Communicating Vessels (Savienotie trauki) in a new situation.

Podnieks is also designing the stage for the chamber music production The Reich Passage, which will take place at the Concert Hall on September 26 as part of the Liepāja Art Forum. The pieces newly created for the exhibition will become part of the concert, and vice versa. Like communicating vessels – interacting, shifting pressure, creating great forces in the right places, and leveling out.
