Through a resolutely cinematic aesthetic, Lisa Gendebien captures the urban landscape in a new light: neon lights, petrol stations, deserted shop signs and nocturnal atmospheres seem straight out of a film set, where the city becomes the main character. Each image tells a story suspended between raw reality and stylised fiction. Inspired by cinema, solitude and artificial light, she invites us to explore these mundane places with a sensitive and contemplative eye.

À travers une esthétique résolument cinématographique, Lisa Gendebien capture l’urbain sous un jour nouveau : néons, stations-service, enseignes désertes et ambiances nocturnes semblent tout droit sortis d’un plan de cinéma, où la ville devient le personnage principal. Chaque image raconte une histoire suspendue entre réalité brute et fiction stylisée. Inspirée par le cinéma, la solitude et la lumière artificielle, elle nous invite à arpenter ces lieux anodins avec un regard sensible et contemplatif.
