As seen in Countryfile magazine she is the UK’s main grower of special heritage long straw which is used in weaving. The straw used in the workshop is harvested in Staffordshire in a traditional way and gathered into sheaves before drying. You’ll be able to learn about this fascinating natural material and try out different weaving techniques, before adding the finishing touches such as ribbons and hanging loops to create a beautiful decoration – or two! Celebrate the season by joining us in our cosy studio in the Staffordshire countryside includes tea and coffee.We have everything you need for the workshop, just bring yourself.Suitable for:Adults aged 18+Complete beginners and all abilities.
