Studio Night at Stonnall & Shenstone Camera Club
Stonnall & Shenstone Camera Club is excited to announce our first Studio Night of the year, and it’s shaping up to be a great one.
We are delighted to welcome Barry Phillips, studio owner and professional photographer from Aura Photographic Studios, who will be hosting the evening. Barry brings a wealth of experience in studio photography and will be on hand throughout the night to provide guidance, advice, and practical support for photographers of all levels.
The evening will focus on hands-on studio lighting, with Barry setting up and demonstrating professional lighting techniques. Members and visitors will have the opportunity to shoot, experiment, and learn how different lighting setups affect the final image — from positioning lights to working with shadows and highlights.
This is very much a practical session, so attendees are encouraged to bring their cameras and get involved. Whether you’re new to studio work or looking to refine your skills, this is a fantastic chance to gain confidence and experience in a supportive environment.
A model will be present for the evening (details to be confirmed), and while we’re keeping that part under wraps for now, we can promise it’s going to be a good one.
This Studio Night is open to both members and visitors, making it an ideal opportunity to experience what Stonnall & Shenstone Camera Club has to offer while learning from a seasoned professional.
