- **Event Description**: I’m going to be in Libertyville, Il for Free Comic Book Day at Dreamland Comics. Back in the day( and back it really is) I used to work at Six Flags Great America. I worked in the park painting T-shirts for Fasen Arts from 1985 to 1988, plus one final year of 1989 sitting in a near vacant apartment drawing comics pages for Dark Horse. I lived summers in Waukegan, Gurnee, and Libertyville, while wintering in Minnesota . I came very close to living in Lake County permanently, but ended up staying in Minnesota. Six Flags and the local area have always been a dear and sentimental place for me. Well, it’ll be cool to return to the area for FCBD.  Hope to see you there at Dreamland!
