Nestled in the foothills at the historic Grossinger’s Hotel where great champions and boxing legends once came to train we are proud to carry that legacy forward as we open our doors once again for open sparring.

Last time we welcomed gyms, it wasn’t about rivalry it was about unity. Fighters pushed each other, coaches shared knowledge, and every round reflected discipline and heart. By the end of the day, everyone left sharper, stronger, and proud of the work they put in.

We’re inviting gyms again for our next open sparring event where safety comes first, structure matters, and positivity leads the way. All athletes will be matched carefully by weight, age, and experience. Proper gear, registration, and respect for the craft are required because we take this seriously, and we take care of each other.

This is a space where fighters improve, teams connect, and the next level begins.

Come represent your gym, challenge your athletes, and be part of something that builds not just better boxers but better teammates.

GROSSINGERS CATSKILL SPARRING RULES
 1. Everyone must wear 16 oz sparring gloves
 2. Everyone will be weighed
 3. Everyone will be matched up by record and age
 4. Safety is our first priority
 5. Everyone will wear correct protective gear
 6. All amateur boxers must be registered by USA Boxing Metro in order to spar
 7. All coaches must be registered in order to be working a corner
 8. Everyone will be expected to respect all gym rules
 9. Positive progress is our goal lead by example
 10. Positive team spirit is a shared sense of camaraderie, trust, and collaboration that boosts morale, productivity, and innovation
