Plongez dans l’univers enchanteur de la musique magique inspirée des romans de J.K. Rowling – l’événement familial le plus féerique de décembre, une expérience à ne pas manquer!
Nous vous invitons à entrer dans l’univers de Poudlard – pour un voyage musical passionnant aux côtés des personnages favoris de J.K. Rowling. Un émerveillement garanti pour toute la famille! Le programme de la soirée comprend la musique magique des inoubliables films Harry Potter, interprétée par l’extraordinaire La Chapelle Sauvage.
Les bandes originales ont été magistralement composées par John Williams. La musique a été écrite dans ses résidences de Los Angeles et Tanglewood, puis enregistrée en septembre 2001 aux célèbres studios Abbey Road et Air Lyndhurst de Londres. On y retrouve de nombreux leitmotivs caractéristiques, repris dans le deuxième film Harry Potter et la Chambre des secrets. Le thème principal, «Hedwig’s Theme», traverse toute la saga dans des versions adaptées. La bande sonore est sortie le 30 octobre 2001 sur CD.
Le 14 décembre 2001, le disque a été certifié Or au Canada (50’000 exemplaires) et en janvier 2002 au Japon (100’000 exemplaires). En 2002, John Williams a été nommé aux Oscars pour la meilleure musique de film, mais la récompense est revenue à Howard Shore pour un autre chef-d’œuvre du genre fantastique: Le Seigneur des anneaux: La Communauté de l’anneau. Sa musique sera également présente dans nos concerts.

Les organisateurs du concert sont l'agence créative RED EVENTS & Distribution ltd, qui organise des événements culturels exceptionnels dans d'anciennes demeures, sur des toits, dans des serres et dans d'autres lieux très atmosphériques d'Europe, de Grande-Bretagne, d'Azerbaïdjan, de Géorgie et d'autres pays. 🎻La Chapelle Sauvage
La Chapelle Sauvage est née sous l'impulsion du jeune chef d'orchestre belge Karel De Wilde. Il s’agit d’un ensemble international de jeunes musiciens professionnels venant de partout dans le monde. Ce qui les a réunis et ce qui les caractérise, c’est une ambition musicale sauvage et indomptable doublée d'une attitude contemporaine, critique et réflexive. Outre un vaste répertoire classique, ils osent également se lancer dans divers projets de styles très variés. Hormis leur noyau fixe, leur effectif se modifie constamment selon le répertoire, afin de parvenir à une répartition équilibrée, étant toujours à la recherche d'une exécution créative et d'une authenticité justifiée, en utilisant pour ce faire la connaissance et les techniques les plus modernes dont nous disposons à ce jour.

✨ Op 5 december om 20:00 in de sfeervolle Academische zaal van de Universiteit in hartje Luik vindt een magisch concert plaats. De uil heeft je gevonden! Verdiep jezelf in de wereld van magische muziek uit de cultfantasie gebaseerd op de gelijknamige romans van J.K. Rowling - de meest betoverende gebeurtenis van december voor het hele gezin, een belevenis die je niet mag missen!
We nodigen je uit naar Zweinstein - op een spannende muzikale reis met Rowlings favoriete personages. Genot voor het hele gezin is gegarandeerd. Het avondprogramma omvat de betoverende muziek uit de onvergetelijke fantasyfilms van Harry Potter uitgevoerd door het buitengewone La Chapelle Sauvage.
De soundtracks van de film zijn meesterlijk gecomponeerd door John Williams. De componist schreef de muziek in zijn landhuizen in Los Angeles en Tanglewood en nam ze vervolgens op in de Abbey Road en Air Lyndhurst studio's in Londen in september 2001. De film bevat veel karakteristieke leidmotieven, waarvan de meeste werden herhaald in de tweede film van de Harry Potter-franchise, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. De hoofdcompositie, "Hedwig's Theme", is in alle films aanwezig in een aangepaste vorm. De soundtrack werd uitgebracht op 30 oktober 2001 op cd-media.

De muziek uit The Lord of the Rings is ook te horen tijdens onze concerten.
Het album van Williams werd een succes en bereikte nummer 48 in de Billboard 200 en nummer twee in de Top Soundtracks Chart. Op de officiële Britse hitlijsten stond het album op nummer 19.

🎻La Chapelle Sauvage
La Chapelle Sauvage is een artistiek huis met vele kamers. Het ontstond onder impuls van de Belgische dirigent Karel De Wilde als een internationaal initiatief van jonge professionele musici komende uit geheel de wereld. Wat hen samenbracht en typeert is een wilde en ontembare muzikale ambitie met een eigentijdse, kritische en reflectieve attitude.
Karel De Wilde studeerde op jonge leeftijd piano, orgel, klavecimbel en contrabas, en vervolgens orgel, muziektheorie en orkestdirectie aan de Koninklijke Conservatoria van Gent en Mons. Reeds vroeg werden zijn veelzijdige talenten in binnen-en buitenland opgemerkt en werd hem aangeboden om deze uitermate te laten ontwikkelen. Zo werden verschillende van zijn composities succesvol internationaal gecreëerd en concerteerde hij in aanwezigheid van tal van Europese prominente persoonlijkheden. Het was Karel's arrangement van het
Belgische Volkslied dat geselecteerd en uitgevoerd werd te Brussel door het Nationaal Orkest van Kroatië in aanwezigheid van de Europese regeringsleiders op de dag van hun toetreding tot de EU. Karel wordt aanschouwd als één van Belgiës meest beloftevolle nieuwe dirigenten en is een graag geziene artistieke partner van talrijke artiesten en culturele organisaties. Hiervan getuigen de succesvolle samenwerkingen met La Chapelle Sauvage, Red Events, An Pierlé, Podium Nieuw Talent, Davidsfonds, Beauraing Festival of Sacred Music, Festival van Vlaanderen, German Quality Entertainment en vele anderen.
Niettegenstaande hun vaste kern modificeert hun bezetting zich gedurig naargelang het repertoire, dat een grote verscheidenheid aan kamermuziek bevat evenals werken voor symfonisch orkest en regelmatig samenwerkt met koren en internationale solisten. Hierbij steeds opzoek naar een creatieve en authentiek verantwoorde uitvoering, gebruik makende van de kennis en modernste technieken waarover we heden ten dage beschikken.

Immerse yourself in the world of magical music from the cult fantasy based on the novels of the same name by J.K. Rowling – the most enchanting event of December for the whole family, an experience not to be missed!

The evening programme includes the magical music from unforgettable fantasy films of Harry Potter performed by the extraordinary La Chapelle Sauvage.
The film's soundtracks were masterfully composed by John Williams. The composer wrote the music at his mansions in Los Angeles and Tanglewood and then recorded at Abbey Road and Air Lyndhurst studios in London in September 2001. The film features many characteristic leitmotifs, most of which were repeated in the second film of the Harry Potter franchise, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. The main composition, "Hedwig's Theme", is present in all films in a modified form. The soundtrack was released on October 30, 2001, on CD media.
On December 14, 2001, the soundtrack was certified gold in Canada (50,000 units) and in January 2002 in Japan (100,000 units). In 2002, John Williams was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Music for a Film but lost to Howard Shore, who wrote the compositions for another fantasy film, The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, another fantasy film, “The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring”, music from which can also be heard at our concerts.

🎻 La Chapelle Sauvage
La Chapelle Sauvage is an artistic house with many rooms. It saw light by the impulse of the Belgian conductor Karel De Wilde as a teamwise and international initiative of young professional musicians coming from all over the world. What gathered them is a wild and untameable musical ambition with a contemporary, critical and reflective attitude.
Karel De Wilde is a versatile artist. He studied piano, organ, harpsichord and double bass at a young age, and then organ, music theory and orchestral conducting at the Royal Conservatories of Ghent and Mons. His compositions were successfully created internationally and he performed in the presence of many prominent European personalities. It was Karel's arrangement of the Belgian National Anthem that was selected and performed in Brussels by the National Orchestra of Croatia in the presence of the European heads of government on the day of their accession to the EU. Karel is regarded as one of Belgium's most promising new conductors and is a welcome artistic partner of numerous artists and cultural organisations. This is evidenced by the successful collaborations with La Chapelle Sauvage, Red Events, An Pierlé, Podium Nieuw Talent, Davidsfonds, Beauraing Festival of Sacred Music, Festival van Vlaanderen, German Quality Entertainment, Rusanda Panfili and many others.
In addition to a large classical repertoire, La Chapelle Sauvage gladly ventures into various projects in multiple styles. Notwithstanding the solid core, their instrumentation continually modifies according to the repertoire which contains a wide variety of chamber music as well as works for symphony orchestra and regularly collaborates with choirs and international soloists. Ever in search for a creative and responsible performance, hereby using the knowledge and techniques which are known to us today.
