RECLAIM HOLLOW PONDS ON SATURDAY 6TH DECEMBER!
Women in Waltham Forest are taking action to reclaim our streets and spaces from the fear and threat of male violence.
Hollow Ponds does not feel safe for women to simply be, recent reported incidents have added to those fears.
On Saturday 6th December, assembling from dusk, we will come together as women, being loud, and visible, and strong together.
Wear yellow to be seen, bring torches and placards. All women (trans and non-binary inclusive) and girls welcome, along with young boys (12 and under)
This is part of the annual UN 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence. Not all men are perpetrators; all women experience it. We challenge the current blaming of migrant men and demand that the Police and parks authorities take our safety seriously.
Please join us and amplify the voices of women in Waltham Forest and beyond!
