In 2025, 235 nonprofits generated 12,476 gifts and raised $3.14 million. The average nonprofit raised $12,038, the average gift was $160, and one in four donors gave to a nonprofit they had not previously supported. Those results show that Bluegrass Gives is both a fundraising opportunity and a donor-acquisition opportunity.The 2025 match analysis also provides a compelling strategic lesson: nonprofits with matching sponsors substantially outperformed those without matches. Matched organizations averaged $29,444 raised compared with $7,317 for organizations without a match.
