When the citizens of Bikini Bottom discover that a volcano will soon erupt and destroy their humble home, SpongeBob and his friends must come together to save the fate of their undersea world. With lives hanging in the balance and all hope lost, a most unexpected hero rises up. The power of optimism really can save the world! This exciting new musical featuring irresistible characters and magical music, this deep-sea pearl of a show is set to make a splash with audiences young and old.

In person auditions will be held at the Three Notch Theater in Lexington Park: March 30th and 31st from 6:30pm-9:00pm. You only need to attend one day in one time slot, either 6:30-8:00pm or 8:00-9:30pm. Callbacks (if necessary) will be held on April 4th from 11:00am-2:00pm.

We are looking for an energetic and diverse cast of individuals! All roles are open to any actor, regardless of race or gender. You must be at least 14 years old or older to audition. 

Please prepare 32 bars of music to sing (no more than 2 minutes). An accompanist will be provided. You may also bring a karaoke track with NO voices. 

Please dress comfortably, as you will be learning some choreography.

Virtual submissions of the required audition materials will be accepted. Please send all materials/video files to auditions@newtowneplayers.org. Virtual submissions will be accepted through March 31st at 5:00pm.
