- **Event Name**: Native Plant Garden Work Day
- **Event Start and End Date**: Sun, 31 May, 2026 at 01:00 pm – Sun, 31 May, 2026 at 03:00 pm
- **Event Description**: The Southern Maryland Sierra Club is working to establish a native plant garden in Lexington Manor Passive Park!

Sunday May 31 join us at 1pm for mulching, weeding, and planting in the field along Misima trail next to the Community Garden of Lexington Manor Passive Park. We will have gloves and shovels. If you have a wheelbarrow, extra shovels, or native plants to share, let us know and bring it along. Please bring water, close-toed shoes, and a hat or sunscreen!

The address of Lexington Manor Passive Park in google maps will lead you to the furthest parking lot. The closest parking lot to the plant site is on the side of the park by the Post Office. The planting location is along Misima right near the Community Garden. If you use the address, you will be able to see the closer parking lot field. 21779 Tulagi Pl, Lexington Park, MD 20653.

We are an all-volunteer group and can't accomplish all the good things we do without your help. If you have questions, please contact us at southernmaryland@mdsierra.org.
