This workshop is for early childhood formal and informal educators (scout group leaders and nature center educators).  Project WET and Project Wild are national programs that offer multidisciplinary, hands-on activities that correlate with state and national academic standards.

Workshop participants will learn a variety of methods and
activities to enhance their teaching of environmental science by
incorporating hands-on activities to their lesson plans and
programs. State of Illinois licensed teachers may earn certified
professional development units for participation and completion.

Cost is $50 per workshop, which includes supplies, an activity guide, certificate of completion, and ISBE credit if applicable.  Activities will be held indoors and outdoors.  Space is limited.  Registration is required at https://forms.illinois.edu/sec/328845119
