Step into the world of clay with this 6-week introductory ceramics course designed for those with little to no experience.

This course focuses on the foundational techniques of wheel throwing, giving you a strong starting point in working on the pottery wheel. You’ll learn how to move through each stage of the ceramic process—from wet clay to finished, glazed piece—while building confidence with tools, forms, and techniques.

Throughout the course, you’ll create functional pieces such as bowls and cylinders, while gaining a deeper understanding of trimming, drying, and glazing.

By the end of the six weeks, you’ll have the skills to take a piece from start to finish—and the foundation to continue exploring ceramics on your own.
