The Liberty Theater has been the heart of the Lewiston Downtown for decades, but right now, it faces a difficult reality. We are no longer able to store theater seats that have come from local theaters including the Liberty and Orchards Cinemas, due to an unfortunate illness in one of our supporters. Instead of letting them go to waste, we are inviting you to “save a seat” and take it home.

By making a donation today, you aren’t just rescuing a piece of our shared heritage; you’re directly funding the rebuilding of the iconic Liberty blade sign, the beacon that guides us all back to the movies.

    Preserving original theater seats from local theaters in your own home.

    Bringing back the majestic Liberty blade sign to its former glory.
    Becoming a Liberty Theater Member $35 individual, $75 Family, $150 Sustainer, $200 Patron, $500 Walk of Fame, $750 Silver Screen, $1000 Director's Guild   **With your permission we would also like to give you a public shout-out for your support


Come help us keep the Liberty alive, both in memory and in the community. Every seat you "save" brings us closer to reopening our doors.  

The seats will be available to pick up on Saturday the 27th of June  from 9:30 to noon, Bring a truck, bring a trailer, or for an extra $10 donation per seat you can have them delivered in the L/C valley.  Most seats come connected as sets of three, so please plan accordingly.
