- **Event Description**: Join us for a special double-header: a Family Dance called to an open band at 6pm, followed by contra dancing as usual at 7pm. 

Bring an instrument if you want to play in the open band, no RSVP required. Just show up by 5:45pm so we can be ready to go by 6pm! 

Family Dances are role-free, accessible to all experience levels, and lots of fun. This is a great event for kids! 

At 7pm we transition to a regular contra dance featuring.... 

Band: Ellen Gawler & Greg Boardman
Caller: Maggie Robinson 

Beginners' lesson at 7PM, dancing from 7:30-10. 

No experience or partner needed. All dances are taught and led. 

Bring a water bottle to refill from our cooler and help yourself to our snack table during the break. 

ADMISSION
Family Dance admission is $1 for teens and students (kids 12 and under are free!) & $2 for adults; Contra Dance admission is $15-25 (and includes admission to the Family Dance!) 

VOLUNTEERING
Volunteers who commit in advance get free admission--please email lewistoncontradance@gmail.com to secure your spot.
