This gripping stage adaptation brings one of the most famous mysteries of all time to life, where suspicion builds, secrets surface, and every guest becomes a suspect. Invited to a secluded island estate by an unknown host, ten strangers arrive expecting a weekend getaway—but soon discover they have been brought together for a much darker purpose. However, we are considering altering the gender of some characters ROGERS - The Butler. Competent servant, more than a butler, a bit of a snob. Some describe him as shifty. He & his wife are hired by Mr. Owen as the caretakers of the Island. AGE: Middle-age MRS. ROGERS – Rodgers’ wife, the Cook. Nervous, she appears overwhelmed and frightened. AGE: 30s-40s FRED NARRACOTT – He is a Sticklehaven local. He provides ferry service to and from the Island. AGE: 20’s-40’s VERA CLAYTHORNE – The secretary. Attractive young woman in her first job as a secretary, outwardly charming but hiding significant anxiety. She used to be the nanny for an upper-class family AGE: 20’s PHILLIP LOMBARD – A former Army man, he’s sent to the Island by and intermediary, under the story of acting as an “Assistant” for anything his employer might need. AGE: 30’s TONY MARSTON – The Rich Kid: Very attractive, spoiled and frivolous, a maniac behind the wheel. AGE: 20s WILLIAM BLORE – The Cop: Retired L.A. cop, out of his element when posing as a rich businessman, but tough and competent. AGE: 40s– 50s GENERAL MACKENZIE – The General: military bearing but quiet and reserved. He is wrestling with his demons and losing. AGE: 60s EMILY BRENT - The Bigot: Snobbish, opinionated and self-righteous, she has just enough charm to keep all the others from killing her themselves.
