An evening of readings, song, and conversation: A dramatic reading of letters written by a French 15-year-old Jewish high school student who corresponded with her teacher during summer vacation in 1942, a year before Louise and her family were deported and perished at Auschwitz. The letters were rediscovered in 2010, in a cabinet in the high school. Readings will be interspersed with well-known songs of the era for a sing-along. Afterwards, refreshments and conversation.

Organization and introduction: Lynn Palermo

Admission: $5.00 per person. All proceeds and donations collected at this event will benefit the SUN-Immigrant Community Support organization.
