Lori Weaver and Jeanette Musser co-founded For the Earth, an environmental community action club aiming to promote eco-friendly initiatives like planting pollinator gardens free of herbicides and pesticides.

"When I think of what we've done and what our children will struggle with because we didn't take care of this planet, it makes me weep. The more people we can get involved, the more we can counterbalance what's not healthy." - Lori Weaver

Weaver's pollinator garden in Mifflinburg serves as an example of how to create a habitat for bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, and moths by choosing native plants that bloom in different seasons and planting them in drifts.
