The new format includes:
- Starting with a 20-30 min. presentation of shared experience from families who've lived through addiction
- Someone to teach on one of the 12 steps every month and provide education on practical tools families can use during the week to begin to heal relationships 
- Separate recovery and family groups to have open discussion
- Trained and licensed childcare workers available to provide activities for children ages 0-12 years old during the meeting

"We believe addressing the family as a whole is the number one relapse prevention. Addiction makes the entire family sick, and when we all begin to heal together, we see long-term sobriety become a reality," said Shawnee Robel.
