Mahj Squad is all about HAVING FUN, meeting new friends, and enjoying the game in a relaxed environment. This is a FRIENDLY, casual, no-pressure group—we do not play for money. 

All skill levels are welcome! Please come with a basic understanding of the game. If you have never played or have not taken a beginner/101 class, please consider attending one of Laurie's "Mahjong 101 Learning Sessions" listed in the Events tab.

Please bring your 2026 NMJL card, as we will be playing by the official National Mah Jongg League (NMJL) American Mahjong rules. (If you don't have an official 2026 NMJL card yet, please comment if you're not sure how or where to get one.)

If you have a complete American Mahjong set (tiles, racks with pushers, mat, and dice) and would be willing to bring it, please let me know in the comments. We will need 3 or 4!

? IMPORTANT: Parking & Carpooling

UPDATE: Spoke to the branch manager and there should be plenty of parking available since this event is occurring on a Monday. Please disregard any previous conversations/communication regarding carpooling for this event.
