If you've never been to a writers round before, here's how it works: the artists sit together on stage and take turns, song by song, trading stories and songs in the round. It's intimate, it's unpredictable, and it's one of the most special ways to experience live music. This is how songs are shared in the writer rooms of Nashville, and we're bringing it to Lewes.

The writers:

Sennen Timcke - our local songsmith whose beautiful, evocative songs are the antidote to fast-made music. Thoughtful, human, and quietly stunning.

Tai Shan - all the craft of a Nashville writer (tight lyrics, melodies that stick, hooks for days) with an artistic voice that grows more unmistakably hers with every release.

Electric Blue Yonder - husband-and-wife duo Johnny Veres and Beth Hataway blend trippy folk-rock and ethereal harmonies into something they call a portal to a new world. We believe them.

Chalk House Sessions is Lewes' intimate, candlelit listening room at the Con Club. Seated, warm, and built for people who love to really listen. Come early, grab a famously reasonable pint, and settle in.
