Description of Workshop/ Class:
Come learn a new fun and relaxing art form that is suitable for all abilities! Kinusaiga (pronounced “key-new-sigh-guh”) is a contemporary art form created in 1987 by Japanese artist Setsu Maeno.

You will create your own colorful and unique pumpkin using a beautiful assortment of fabrics. No sewing involved! Your finished piece measures 4.5 x 4.5 inches and fits nicely into the included 5 x 5 inch open shadowbox frame. It comes ready to hang with a jute twine loop on the back, but it also looks great sitting on a shelf, desk, or bookcase. All materials and tools needed are provided, but feel free to bring any fabric scraps of your own. I’m excited to introduce you to your next favorite craft addiction!
