# Event Details - **Event Name**: Ring Making Workshop with Mollie Paling - **Event Start and End Date**: Sat, 12 Sep, 2026 at 01:00 pm – Sat, 12 Sep, 2026 at 03:30 pm (+01:00) - **Event Description**: Design and hand-carve your own ring at the beautiful setting of SIDELINE STUDIO.About this EventCome and Learn how to design and carve your very own bespoke ring at the beautiful SIDELINE studio.In the workshop you will be taught a range of techniques and processes demonstrated by Mollie Paling from FLUX jewellery.You will carve and sculpt your own ring out of jewellers wax, using a variety of tools to explore and experiment with mark making, forming shape and surface texture. Don’t worry, everyone will start with a test piece allowing time to familiarise yourself with the material and methods of making. Once comfortable you will start to create your own ring individually inspired by your own ideas and personal taste. The ring can really be as dramatic or simple as you desire.By the end of your session you’ll have a finished wax ring ready for casting.*Extra wide/heavy rings may have additional cost added of approximately £30.After the class the rings are then sent and cast in 100% recycled silver ( or recycled gold if desired, cost difference will be explained) Once cast, Mollie will polish them up in her workshop in Lewes and returned within 3-4 weeks either by collection from FLUX or post to your door.
