- **Event Description**: Brian Peters is one of the English folk scene’s great all-rounders, a compelling singer and an outstanding multi-instrumentalist. Brian is one of the country’s best anglo-concertina & melodeon players, & also plays fiddle & banjo.  Well known for towering renditions of Child Ballads and other songs from the English tradition, Brian adds beautifully-played squeezebox instrumentals to a repertoire full of variety, fire and humour.  He also has a deep knowledge of the history behind the old songs.

Brian will give us two forty-five minute spots and the rest of the evening is filled by members of the audience performing a song or tune if they wish.

This is a Bring Your Own Booze (& glasses) venue. The Dorset Arms & Gardeners Arms are nearby but will probably not provide glasses to be taken out.

Everyone is welcome, especially if you'd like to sing or play. We mostly sing and play traditional music from the British Isles, but we enjoy other styles as well. We always start off with some English dance tunes for anyone with an instrument to join in.
