Dinner Show: A Tribute to the Great Vocalists  of the American Songbook- The music of the Great American Songbook was brought to life by some of the 20th Century's most renown musicians and vocalists. Many of the songs originated in Tin Pan Alley and were written for, and featured in a variety of Broadway productions in the mid 20th Century. At one point though, they were discovered and reinterpreted by some of the finest jazz musicians and vocalists of the 20th Century. Musicians like John Coltrane, Oscar Peterson, Miles Davis, pianist Nat King Cole and by vocalists like Mel Torme, Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Jo Stafford, Miss Peggy Lee and of course Nat King Cole in his role as a vocalist..

This performance will highlight some of the best songs by these talented singers with some “back stories” about both the music and the singers themselves. You don’t want to miss this performance.
