Rain or Shine

The vision of the Peace Pagoda reaches across cultures, faiths, and generations. Most Venerable Nichidatsu Fujii, Founder and Teacher of Nipponzan Myohoji, expressed this call for humanity:

“To protect and emancipate humanity from the fear brought on by the conflagration, war and violence of the non-virtuous modern age … all people must be taught of the Divine presence (within each human being) that is intrinsically to be venerated.”
— Most Venerable Nichidatsu Fujii (1885–1985)

Let us gather once again in the spirit of peace and friendship—to pray, listen, celebrate, share food, and strengthen our commitment to a more righteous and compassionate world.
