Na een jaar waarin ze uitgroeiden tot een van de spannendste nieuwe namen van het land, zet TJE nu volop koers richting internationale doorbraak. Hun debuutalbum 'SCHADE' werd door onder meer De Morgen uitgeroepen tot een van dé Belgische platen van 2026 en bevestigt wat live al langer duidelijk is: TJE is geen band die je zomaar naast je neerlegt.

Het Brusselse trio, bestaande uit Lindy Versyck, Melvin Slabbinck en Klaas Leyssen, balanceert moeiteloos tussen elektronica, avant-pop, postrock en experiment. Hypnotiserende bassen, pulserende elektronica en Versycks bezwerende stem zorgen live voor een intense trip die even rauw als kwetsbaar aanvoelt. Denk: de spanning van Björk, de sfeer van FKA twigs en een volledig eigen universum daartussenin.

Met indrukwekkende passages op onder meer Best Kept Secret, Reeperbahn, Fifty Lab en Left of the Dial bewees TJE het voorbije jaar al dat hun reputatie niet overdreven is.

Dat TJE al sinds 2025 artist in residence is in Het Depot, voelt dan ook als een logische match. Vanuit Leuven bouwen ze verder aan hun unieke geluid en groeiden ze uit tot een liveband die zowel in binnen- als buitenland indruk maakt, met passages op onder meer Best Kept Secret, Reeperbahn, Fifty Lab en Left of the Dial.

Op zondag 5 oktober brengen ze 'SCHADE' naar Het Depot voor een show die tegelijk hypnotiserend, meeslepend en confronterend zal zijn. Een thuismatch!
