In 2026 vieren The Wolf Banes hun 40-jarig bestaan—een uitzonderlijke mijlpaal voor een Belgische rockband die sinds 1986 koppig hun eigen weg gaat. Wat begon in Lier met een stel rebelse muzikanten groeide uit tot één van de meest eigenzinnige en geliefde bands van de Belgische rockscene.

Bekend van de Belpop klassieker 'As The Bottle Runs Dry', het helaas nog steeds actuele 'Mile Away From Here', kampvuurfavoriet 'Fire In The Woods', en garage-klassieker '(Shit I Love) Barbara Carrera', wisten The Wolf Banes zich vanaf het begin te onderscheiden met hun rauwe energie, speelse humor en aanstekelijke songs. Hun reputatie als explosieve live-band werd al snel bevestigd door clubs en festivals. 

Veertig jaar later is er niets veranderd: The Wolf Banes zijn anno 2026 een geoliede live-machine met het recent verschenen album 'Sugar Skull' en de single 'Julienne Brunoise'.

Peter Stonewood is een muzikant en multidisciplinair kunstenaar, en de oprichter van Stonewood Art Lab. Zijn creatieve werk omvat muziek, visuele storytelling en experimentele productie, met een sterke focus op samenwerking en onafhankelijke artistieke expressie. Als filmmaker en visueel artiest produceerde Stonewood videoclips voor Mr. Paul and the Lowriders, Alain Louie en Luk de Graaff, waarbij hij bijdroeg aan een uitgesproken visuele identiteit die het geluid en de esthetiek van de artiesten aanvult.

Via Stonewood Art Lab blijft hij projecten ontwikkelen die muziek, beeld en creatief onderzoek met elkaar verbinden, met nadruk op authenticiteit, experiment en artistieke vrijheid.

Peter Stonewood bracht vier albums uit: 'Around the Fire' (2024), 'Moonman' (2024), 'The Wires Are Connected' (2021) en 'About the Beauty of Surfaces and the Other Way Around'(2020). Hij werkt samen met Stoy Stoffelen, Luk de Graaff, Alain Louie, Iwein Bayens en diverse gastmuzikanten.
