The aim of the training is to help participants understand how to safeguard children and report Child Protection and Welfare concerns.This is a six hour programme and is facilitated by trainers from Donegal County Childcare Committee. The training is taking place over two afternoons, Tuesday 5th May & Wednesday 6th May, 2pm to 5pm. Participants MUST attend both sessions to receive their certificate.A prerequisite of attending this training is that participants have completed the Tusla e-learning Children First programme (within the last 12 months) and the Tusla Mandated Person e-learning programme.
